Personal Stylist To The Modern Mom

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I'm a certified Style Coach® and personal stylist for the modern mom, a former fashion designer, and a mom of two.

My Story

Before I became a style coach, I walked two distinct paths: first as a fashion designer, then as a stay-at-home mom trying to figure out who I was beyond "mom." Trust me, I've been exactly where you are now.

Helping others has always been part of who I am. I’ve the go-to for advice in my family and among my friends. I value authenticity, creativity, making things beautiful, and most of all, supporting others. But in the early years of motherhood, I started losing touch with myself. I no longer felt confident in my body or my clothes. I didn’t recognize myself anymore.

I remember saying no to playdates and invitations—not because I didn’t want connection, but because I didn’t feel good in my body or my clothes. I didn’t feel like me. That moment stuck with me and became my wake-up call.

And the more moms I talked to, I began to see a pattern—so many women, especially mothers, were silently struggling with the same thing: identity loss, low self-confidence, and the pressure to be everything for everyone and a sense of guilt around taking time for yourself.

My lightbulb moment came unexpectedly. One day, while my kids’ were at piano lessons, I was listening to a podcast on fashion psychology. My heart raced. I'd never heard anyone talk about the emotional connection between how we feel and how we dress—but I had been living that reality every single day.

That was my turning point. I didn't want to go back to school, but I knew I could use my fashion industry experience and genuine passion to help others who were going through what I had. When I learned about Style Coaching, I knew this was the path I was looking for. Today, I support moms like you—whether working or staying at home—who feel disconnected from their style and completely overwhelmed by getting dressed each morning. You want to feel confident but aren't sure how to dress for your body or where to even begin. You're tired of wasting precious time and money on clothes that never feel quite right—and believe me, I've been there too! My work goes way beyond putting together cute outfits. It's about helping you say yes to yourself again. Yes to that opportunity you've been hesitating about. Yes to date nights, playdates, and being fully present in your life. It’s time to prioritize you. Are you ready to discover your best self?

"Fashion you can buy, but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are, which takes years. There's no how-to road map to style. It's about self expression and, above all, attitude"

-Iris Apfel
